استقبل سعادة الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني، رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية، في مكتبه صباح اليوم، سعادة السيد فيبول، سفير جمهورية الهند الصديقة لدى دولة قطر.

وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية المتميزة التي تجمع بين دولة قطر وجمهورية الهند، وبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الرياضي بين البلدين، إلى جانب مناقشة الفرص المتاحة لتطوير الشراكات وتبادل الخبرات في المجالات الرياضية والأولمبية خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

ويأتي اللقاء في إطار حرص اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية على تعزيز علاقاتها الدولية وتوسيع آفاق التعاون الرياضي بما يسهم في دعم التنمية الرياضية وترسيخ جسور التواصل بين الشعوب.

H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, received this morning at his office H.E. Shri Vipul, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Qatar.
 
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of India and discussed ways to enhance sports cooperation between the two countries. They also explored opportunities to further develop partnerships and exchange expertise in the fields of sport and the Olympic Movement in the coming period.
 
The meeting comes as part of the Qatar Olympic Committee’s commitment to strengthening its international relations and expanding avenues of sports cooperation in a manner that supports sports development and promotes communication and understanding among peoples.

التقى سعادة الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني، رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية، صباح اليوم في مكتبه، صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعد بن منصور بن سعد بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، سفير المملكة العربية السعودية لدى دولة قطر.

واستعرض الجانبان خلال اللقاء العلاقات الأخوية الوثيقة التي تجمع بين دولة قطر والمملكة العربية السعودية، كما بحثا أوجه التعاون الرياضي بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, met this morning at his office with H.R.H. Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar.
 
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the close fraternal relations between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They also discussed aspects of sports cooperation between the two brotherly countries and explored ways to further strengthen and develop them in the coming period.

في خطوة تعكس الطموح القطري لاستضافة دورة الألعاب الأولمبية والبارالمبية 2036، تم تعيين السيدة فاطمة سلطان الكواري رئيسًا تنفيذيًا لملف ترشح قطر، ضمن مساعي الدولة لتقديم أول دورة ألعاب أولمبية وبارالمبية في الشرق الأوسط ويأتي هذا التعيين ضمن جهود إعداد ملف متكامل يستند إلى سجل دولة قطر في استضافة كبرى الأحداث الرياضية العالمية، ويعكس التزامها بتوظيف الرياضة منصة للتنمية والتقارب بين الشعوب وتعزيز الحوار والتفاهم الثقافي.

In a step that reflects Qatar’s ambition to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2036, Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Qatar’s bid file, as part of the State’s efforts to present the first Olympic and Paralympic Games in the Middle East.

The appointment comes as preparations continue to develop a comprehensive bid that builds on the State of Qatar’s proven record in hosting major international sporting events. It also reflects Qatar’s commitment to using sport as a platform for development, bringing people closer together and promoting dialogue and cultural understanding.
